Built with the founder’s own capital

Blowtrumpet is bootstrapped. Vedoki is where most of that investment went, and it is the least visible part of the company — which is rather the point.

The insulation between the two sides of the business, the verification that happens before any money moves, the refusal to collect viewer data anywhere in the path: those are expensive engineering decisions with no marketing value and no short-term return. They exist because the company could afford to take a long view with its own money, and they are the reason the rest of the business can make the claims it makes.

The engine is not the asset because it is clever. It is the asset because it is the part that would be hardest for anyone else to rebuild, and the part that keeps every commitment the other platforms make.
